Vergil’s Aeneid Textbook
Frustrated by Exeter’s course materials for the Aeneid sequence, I decided to redesign the teaching materials to be more intuitive with my friends Kiesse Nanor and Kevin Cong. In the end, we completed an 300-page textbook that economized and maximized the learning experience, complete with in-depth grammatical explanations and footnotes. It was also important for me to make the Aeneid more accessible to visual learners like me, so I created illustrations to accompany passages. Students currently using the textbook tell me how this addition has transformed their learning experience, and how they are inspired to take their education into their own hands.
